The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Forageplus.
Licence and Site Access
Forageplus grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this site. You may not download (other than page caching) or modify the site, or any part of it, without our express written consent.
This licence does not permit any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of product listings, descriptions or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another business; or any use of data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
This site, or any part of it, may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of Forageplus.
You may not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout or form) of Forageplus and our affiliates without express written consent.
You may not use any meta tags or other hidden text using the Forageplus name or trademarks without the express written consent of Forageplus. Any unauthorised use ends the permission or licence granted by Forageplus.
You may link to the Forageplus home page, provided the link does not portray Forageplus, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory or otherwise offensive manner. This right is limited and non-exclusive, and may be withdrawn at any time.
You may not use any Forageplus logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of a link without express written permission.
Your Account
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
If you are under 18, you may use Forageplus only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Forageplus and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
Copyright Complaints
Forageplus and its affiliates respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, email us with your complaint.
Risk of Loss
Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you, or to someone you have nominated to receive them (for example, a neighbour or a safe place you have specified). Ownership of the goods passes to you on delivery, provided we have received payment in full.
If you arrange your own courier to collect your order, the goods become your responsibility once we hand them to that courier.
Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. Forageplus retains the right to accept or reject this offer before processing the order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us, the prices have been verified, and the order has been processed and dispatched.
Pricing & Availability
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT. Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Grand Total'.
Sometimes reasons beyond our control mean that you will not receive your parcel when you expected. We cannot guarantee delivery within a certain time frame and where orders are multiple and one item is delayed we will ship as one order. If a product is essential for your horse, we recommend keeping a little extra in stock so you do not run out.
The website may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We, therefore, reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfil any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.
We do not routinely add scoops to any of our products. This is because we believe that the plastic waste from receiving a scoop with every order is unnecessary. Our products are priced for sale with the inclusion of the scoop recommended on the feed rate tab. We will only send scoops for your order that are reasonable for the products bought. If you choose too many scoops or scoops which do not correspond with the product you are buying, Forageplus reserves the right to change the scoops to match the order. Forageplus provides one scoop per product purchased.
If you need scoops that were not sent with your order you will need to pay the postage to have them sent out to you.
We recommend using analysis services within 6 months of purchase. See Analysis Services for the full terms on using and refunding analysis.
Order Collections
If you select the option to collect your order from our Warehouse location, you must first wait for confirmation that your order is ready to collect before arriving at our warehouse.
If you arrive at our warehouse without prior notice that your item is ready for collection, your item may not be ready or it may currently be out of stock. In this instance, it is the customer's responsibility to return and collect the item when it is available.
Overseas Orders
Orders being shipped outside the UK may be subjected to tax, customs charges and administration fees on entry to the country. Once an international shipment reaches customs for clearance, any delays or subsequent processing time will be out of the control of Forageplus Ltd until local customs have cleared the shipment for release. When an order is held with customs we would be unable to provide a refund until the product has been released and the order returned to us, any outstanding fees for unpaid customs charges, VAT, handling or administration fees would be deducted from your refund amount along with any additional shipping costs.
Forageplus are not able to advise the exact charges each country will apply to international orders as this can vary for each country and order. It is the customer's responsibility to know about and pay all customs, tax and administration charges relating to shipments outside the UK.
For further information on overseas shipments, please check here.
Forageplus Subscription Programme
These Subscription Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are between you and Forageplus Ltd. and govern our respective rights and obligations. Please note that your use of the Forageplus.co.uk website is also governed by our website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements on the Forageplus.co.uk website, all of which (as changed over time) are incorporated into these Terms. If you sign up for a Forageplus subscription, you accept these Terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements.
Subscription Benefit
The subscription discount is 5% off from store price of certain products when choosing a recurring rebill frequency, and is outlined on the Forageplus.co.uk product webpage and in the cart during checkout. Discount applied may change for subscriptions created during disruptive sale events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Semi-Annual Sale, etc). The subscription discount does not “stack” on top of sale pricing — only the greater discount will apply for a transaction. Subscription product pricing at rebill will apply the standard subscription 5% discount off product store price. Applicable taxes and normal shipping rates and rules apply.
Subscription Cancellation
Your Forageplus subscription will continue until cancelled. You may cancel or modify your Forageplus subscriptions at any time by visiting your Account Dashboard.
Other Limitations
- We reserve the right to accept or refuse your subscription at our discretion.
- You may not transfer or assign any Forageplus subscription.
- Forageplus subscribers are not permitted to subscribe for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship to their customers or potential customers using their Forageplus subscription.
- Only certain products are eligible for Forageplus subscriptions and are noted on the Forageplus.co.uk product webpage.
- We reserve the right to not ship you a Forageplus subscription (some or all products) for one or more subscription periods as necessary, which may affect shipping rates including free shipping eligibility. We won’t charge you a subscription fee for skipped subscription period(s).
Fees and Renewal
Any subscription fee is stated on the Forageplus.co.uk product webpage. Applicable taxes, and normal shipping rates and rules apply to all subscriptions. We will attempt to honour your preferred shipping method of your Forageplus subscription, but as necessary, we reserve the right to process your subscription order using the next most economical shipping method.
If all eligible payment methods we have on record for you are declined for payment of your subscription fee, you must provide us a new eligible payment method promptly or your subscription will be cancelled.
If you provide us with a new eligible payment method and are successfully charged, your new subscription period will vary depending on your chosen subscription. Visit your Account Dashboard and Subscriptions to see renewal dates for your subscription.
UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US BEFORE YOUR RENEWAL DATE THAT YOU WANT TO CANCEL, YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR FORAGEPLUS SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE, AND YOU AUTHORISE US WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU, TO COLLECT THE THEN-APPLICABLE SUBSCRIPTION FEES, INCLUDING ANY APPLICABLE TAXES AND SHIPPING FEES, USING ANY SAVED PAYMENT METHOD WE HAVE ON RECORD FOR YOU.
Agreement Changes
We may, in our sole discretion, change these Terms in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Customers with an active Forageplus subscription will be notified via email at their Forageplus account email address of any changes to these Terms.
Termination by Us
We may terminate your Forageplus subscription at our discretion without notice. If we do so after you have been charged a subscription fee but prior to our shipment of the subscription order, your subscription will be cancelled and we will give you a refund of the applicable subscription fee. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of any Forageplus subscription, or is harmful to our interests or another user. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.
Returns
All returns of Forageplus subscriptions are subject to the Forageplus.co.uk Returns & Refunds Policy.
For answers to common questions about subscriptions, see our Customer Help page.
Refunds, Faulty Goods & Cancellations
Forageplus cannot accept returns of opened items unless goods are faulty or damaged.
Forageplus cannot accept returns or give refunds for products that have been opened and transferred into other storage containers. The packaging your product is supplied in is sealed and carefully chosen for the shelf life of the product.
If you choose to remove any Forageplus product from its original packaging and store it in a container chosen by yourself Forageplus are not responsible for the product then being spoiled. Incorrect storage of our products may expose them to moisture, particularly in cold weather conditions where products are stored in a damp place and then weather temperature rises quickly. Some of the products are hygroscopic which means they will absorb moisture from the air.
Our products do not contain mould inhibitors or chemicals to prolong shelf life as these can be detrimental to horse health, particularly sensitive horses.
If our products are stored incorrectly, clumping may occur and even mould, which will make the product unfit for horse consumption. This is a direct result of incorrect storage. You should take care to seal the bags, once opened, carefully after every use, using the seal at the top of the bag. Always keep the product in a dry place. This will avoid moisture affecting the product. If you feel you have to transfer the product from the packaging, the container you choose must be completely airtight and have a rubber seal. Old feed tubs do not have airtight lids and should never be used.
All discussions through email and phone calls regarding the purchase of products from Forageplus are advice and based on suggestions to support and maintain horse health. Customers are free to accept or reject this advice and pursue their own research before purchasing Forageplus products.
Forageplus cannot accept the return of opened items which horses will not eat. The nature of supplements means that smell and taste can affect a horse's willingness to consume the product. We will however give advice and suggestions to help you feed your purchase successfully to your horse.
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 5 working days, so we can put it right quickly. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which include the right to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and the right to a repair, replacement or refund after that. Please send us photographs of the problem. Where we ask you to return the item, please include all packaging and the shipping label, as we need these to make a claim against the carrier.
Customers who specifically request not to use packaging, bubble wrap etc. will forfeit their right to return products that are damaged in transit. The packaging we use is to prevent any damage which is common when shipping.
Please contact us to discuss the problem before you return the item by the cheapest signed-for method (usually Royal Mail). We will refund you the cost of your postage within 48 hours once we receive the item if the item is faulty or the mistake was our fault. Please note you will need to return the item before we can consider any refund or replacement. With some items, we will need to refer to the manufacturer and be led by their opinion on faults and damage.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please either refuse it or tell us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 working days of delivery, with photographs of the parcel and its contents. This helps us claim from the carrier and does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelling Your Order
Before dispatch. If you cancel your order before it is dispatched, we will refund you in full, including any delivery charge you paid.
Your 14-day right to cancel. If you are buying as a consumer, you may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day after you receive it. To cancel, email us at enquiries@forageplus.com, then return the items to us within 14 days of telling us. Items must be unopened and in their original sealed packaging. Our products are sealed for health and hygiene reasons, so we cannot accept the return of opened products unless they are faulty. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items. Once we receive them, we will refund the price of the products and the standard delivery charge you paid within 14 days. If you chose a premium delivery service, the amount above our standard delivery rate will not be refunded. No administration or handling fees are deducted from cancellations made within this 14-day period.
Extended returns (up to 60 days). In addition to your 14-day right to cancel, we accept the return of unopened, resaleable items within 60 days of the date of purchase. For returns made after the 14-day cancellation period, you pay the return postage, and we will refund the price of the products less the delivery cost incurred by Forageplus (including where free delivery applied), an administration fee of £3 and a handling fee of £5 per invoice. Customers outside the UK will have an additional £5 deducted to cover currency fluctuations and overseas transaction fees. Items returned after 60 days may be eligible for store credit, decided on a case-by-case basis.
Refused Deliveries
If you no longer want your order, please contact us at enquiries@forageplus.com before it is dispatched. Orders cancelled before dispatch are refunded in full.
If you refuse delivery of an order that has been dispatched, the courier will return it to Forageplus and charge us for the return. We will treat the refusal as a cancellation of your order. The direct cost of the return will be deducted from your refund. This is the amount the courier charges us, which can be up to £20 for a 25kg consignment to the UK mainland and may be higher for other destinations.
Once the goods arrive back with us, we will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge you paid, less the courier's return charge. If you chose a premium delivery service, the cost above our standard delivery rate will not be refunded. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of the goods being returned to us.
No return charge applies if you refuse a delivery because the parcel is visibly damaged, or if the goods are faulty or not as ordered. In these cases, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put things right.
Exceptions to the Returns Policy
Gift cards, eGift cards or eVouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
Analysis Services
We aim to complete and return forage analysis reports as quickly as we can. Occasionally, factors outside our control will delay reports.
Most grass, hay and haylage reports are completed and returned within 14 working days of us receiving the forage sample. This can take longer depending on the season, how busy the laboratory is, public holidays and postal disruption.
We are not an express analysis service and do not advertise ourselves as one. Reports are sent by email as soon as they are completed.
Soil analysis reports can take up to 6 weeks, with an average of around one month from the date we receive the sample in our office.
Water reports have a turnaround time of around 3 weeks.
Using Your Analysis, Cancellations and Refunds
Our analysis services are sold at cost, and laboratory prices can change. We recommend using your analysis within 6 months of purchase. If you use it after 6 months and the laboratory price has increased, you will need to pay the difference before we can process your sample. If there has been no price increase, your analysis can be used up to 12 months from purchase.
Unused analysis can be refunded within 6 months of purchase, or exchanged for store credit within 12 months of purchase. After 12 months, unused analysis cannot be used, refunded or exchanged for store credit.
Analysis orders cancelled more than one month after purchase will have an administration fee of £3 and a handling fee of £5 per invoice deducted from the refund. Customers outside the UK will have a further £5 deducted to cover currency fluctuations and overseas transaction fees. Where a physical analysis kit has been supplied, the cost of the kit will also be deducted.
Feed Suggestions
Our bespoke feed suggestions are based on forage analysis results and, where applicable, water analysis results. We formulate suggestions for your individual horse's requirements. Feed suggestions are a complimentary service, given at the discretion of the company. They are not part of the paid analysis service and are not included in the price of any forage or water analysis.
For safety and horse welfare, the information you give Forageplus must be up to date and as accurate as possible. If you do not provide sufficient information and photos through our horse information form, we may be unable to provide feed suggestions. This policy protects both your horse and our company.
Feed suggestions are calculated for individual horses. A separate, fully completed horse information form is required for each horse you would like feed suggestions for, including horses that share the same forage. Forageplus will decide whether horses can share the same feed suggestions once each horse's requirements have been assessed. We cannot provide feed suggestions based on a single form covering more than one horse, or on groupings chosen by the customer.
Feed suggestions are provided by email only. All communication about your horse, its nutrition, your analysis results and the feed suggestions we provide is carried out by email. We are unable to provide or discuss feed suggestions by telephone, post, letter, live chat or social media messaging. Feed suggestions are sent to the email address on your order, unless you ask us in writing to use a different address. Please send any follow-up questions about your feed suggestions by email too.
Email gives you an accurate, permanent written record of our advice and the figures behind it, keeps both your horse and our company safe, and allows our team to give each horse the time and care it needs. General enquiries about orders, sampling and delivery can still be made by telephone.
If you are unable to use email for accessibility reasons, please contact us and we will discuss a suitable alternative.
We can only begin feed suggestions once both the analysis report and a completed horse information form for each horse have been received. Requests are handled in the order they are received. Feed suggestions normally take 1 to 2 weeks after the analysis report is completed, but can take longer during busy periods, staff annual leave and public holidays.
Policy Regarding Implementing Feed Suggestions
Customers who have previously received detailed Forageplus feed suggestions after a full mineral and or nutritional analysis, but have not implemented the suggested dietary changes, will have to pay a £200 fee to receive further feed suggestions based on the new analysis results. This £200 fee will then be reissued to the customer in the form of a store credit, which is redeemable against all Forageplus balancers and supplements.
This policy has been introduced to ensure that our nutritionists are able to help those who are committed to implementing the feed suggestions which require a significant amount of time and expertise to complete. It allows us to dedicate our resources efficiently and effectively, prioritising customers who are actively engaged in improving their horse’s nutrition and supporting the unique, forage-centric, feed suggestion service that Forageplus offers.
Laboratory Reports – Important Information
At Forageplus we work with independent, accredited laboratories to provide forage, water and mycotoxin analysis. These reports are designed to give you useful nutritional insights to support better horse care.
It’s important to understand what these reports can and cannot be used for:
Results reflect only the sample submitted at the time of testing. Different bales, batches or time periods may give different results.
Reports are provided for your personal information and should be used alongside professional veterinary advice.
They are not a guarantee of feed safety or fitness for purpose.
Reports must not be reproduced, published or distributed without our prior written consent.
They cannot be used as evidence in court cases, legal proceedings, or disputes with suppliers.
Forageplus cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage or liability arising from the use of these reports or reliance upon their content.
Incorrect Details Provided to Forageplus
It is your job to give Forageplus all the correct details regarding the shipping address to which your order will be delivered. Forageplus cannot accept any liability for incorrect details entered by you during the check out process or given over the phone as a telephone order.
The responsibility to check that the shipping address is the correct one lies with the customer. You should be careful to check that the addressed entered is the correct one for both billing and shipping as they can be different from each other.
If you give us incorrect shipping information and the parcel arrives at the wrong location Forageplus cannot be held liable but we will do our best to help you sort the matter out. Note that extra shipping costs incurred in this event will need to be paid by the customer.
Product Descriptions
We work to keep all product descriptions, images and specifications on our website accurate and up to date. From time to time, packaging, images, sizes or specifications may change because of new batches, supplier updates or product improvements, so the product you receive may vary slightly from what is shown on the website.
If a product you buy from Forageplus does not match its description, you have the rights set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to reject it, or to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us and we will put things right.
Limitation of Liability
We provide this website on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep it accurate, secure and free of viruses, but we cannot guarantee that the website, our servers or emails sent from Forageplus will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when you placed your order. If you are buying as a business, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.
Returns
If you are not satisfied with your Forageplus products, no longer need them, or ordered in error, you can return unopened items in their original sealed packaging.
Returns made within 14 days of receiving your order are covered by your statutory right to cancel. We will refund the price of the products and the standard delivery charge you paid, and you pay the cost of returning the items. Returns made between 14 and 60 days from the date of purchase are accepted under our extended returns policy, and the deductions set out in Refunds, Faulty Goods & Cancellations apply. Items returned after 60 days may be eligible for store credit, decided on a case-by-case basis.
Returned products must be unopened (unless faulty), unspoiled and in the same condition as received.
For returns of hay pallets and other analysed feeds, please see our Hay Pallet Terms and Conditions here.
Coupons & Discounts
Coupons are valid for a limited time and while stocks last. Forageplus may change or withdraw a coupon at any time. A coupon applies only to the qualifying items stated in the promotion, only while the coupon is active, and must be applied at checkout on the Forageplus website.
If you return items bought with a coupon, the value of the coupon discount may be deducted from your refund. Normal delivery charges apply to all orders.
Coupons cannot be used together with any other coupon or on subscription purchases.
Forageplus is not responsible for a coupon that cannot be used because the website or internet is unavailable, or because of a system failure.
Please do not email or telephone us asking about future coupons. All offers are announced on our website, social media and email newsletter.
Points & Rewards
You can earn reward points on any purchases you place with Forageplus. These reward points can be applied to the cart page when placing an order. These points have an expiry of 18 months and should be used within 18 months. Once points have expired we are unable to reapply these to your account. Points can be earned on purchases of all mineral balancers and supplements. It is not possible to earn points on any of our hay pallets, analysed horse feeds or analysis services. This is because we offer these products and services at cost, with no profit margin. Allowing our customers to earn points on these products would leave us out of pocket and this would not be sustainable for us.Refer a Friend Programme
Our Refer a Friend scheme gives new customers 10% off their first order and gives the person who referred them £10 store credit. Full details are on our Refer a Friend page. The following terms apply:
- Referral codes apply to genuine new customers only.
- The minimum qualifying spend is £65, excluding shipping.
- The referral code must be used within 4 weeks.

- The £10 referral credit can be used on a future order over £20.
- Only one referral code may be used per customer, billing address and shipping address.
- The referrer and the referred customer cannot be the same person.
- Referral credits are non-transferable and can only be used on the Forageplus website.
- Forageplus may remove credit, void transactions or close accounts where fraudulent or abusive use is detected.
- Where fraudulent use results in a refund, a £5 processing fee may be charged.

- Referral rewards, discounts and scheme availability may change without notice.
Complaints Procedure
We are always keen to hear feedback from our customers so we can monitor and improve the service we provide. We hope that clients feel able to speak to us directly when standards of
service and products exceed, or fall below, expectations. We review all comments received from customers and the information is then forwarded to the appropriate member of staff. In this way, we can strive to continuously improve the quality of the products and services that we offer.
How to Complain
We take complaints very seriously. Please contact the Forageplus office and raise the matter with a member of staff. That staff member will speak to management and get back to you within
three working days, wherever possible, with the next step. If we are unable to settle your complaint the owner of Forageplus will call you to discuss the matter further. If that is not satisfactory, we kindly request that you put your complaint in writing and post or email it to Forageplus.
We hope that most problems can be sorted out quickly and easily. If your problem cannot be sorted out in this way and you wish to make a written complaint, we would like you to let us know as soon as possible.
Complaints concerning our services or products should be addressed to the Customer Services Department. Please include your invoice number, date of purchase and if possible the batch number of the product bought. This can be found on a label on the front of the pouch/packaging. You can send your complaint through the post or by email using our contact page.
We shall endeavour to acknowledge your complaint within three working days, and aim to have reviewed your complaint within ten working days of the date that we received it. We
will then be in a position to discuss it and deliver the best outcome for all involved. Our aim is to do our best for you and your horse. We rely on feedback to provide the best possible service. If you are unhappy, please let us know. We cannot solve a problem if we are unaware of it, so please always tell us. Your custom is very important to us and we appreciate your cooperation in these instances.
Dispute Resolution
If we cannot resolve your complaint through this procedure, you remain free to take the matter to court. Any dispute is governed by the law of England and Wales, as set out under Governing Law above. Where our intellectual property rights have been infringed, Forageplus may seek an injunction or other appropriate relief in any court in the United Kingdom.
Site policies, Modification & Severability
Please review our other policies, posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to Forageplus.
We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
